It has been reported that Boris Said has been signed with Paul Morris Motorsports to take part in some Australian V8 Supercar races.
The first race is the Phillip Island 500. This race is to be held September 12th - 14th, 2008.
The second race is the Bathurst 1000. This race is to be held October 9th - 12th, 2008.
Hopefully I’ll be able to find some more details as the races approach. I have not found a linkable source to this information as of yet…

I posted a note on this story, but like you haven’t been able to confirm it via any other source.
The official V8 Schedule matches the dates given so that much fits.
But there is noting in any of the Aussie or Kiwi fish wraps and nothing on the ?V8 web page.
Nothing on the Morris site either. Also, if it is to happen Morris Motorsports will have to field three cars. They have Mark Ingall and team owner Paul Morris signed as drivers for 2008.
I have not found an ‘official’ source yet. Thats why I posted it in the Rumors category and mentioned no linkable source in the post.
When/If the rumor pans out, I’ll post to let everyone know. A lot of things can change in 8 or 9 months.
It’s true, got an e-mail that said, he “will do 2 races. one in Sept. and bathhurst in Oct.”

Now, to get Speed to show it…
Well if its a rumor it’s in the latest news on V8 supercars home web page about Paul Morris signing Boris and Englandish Driver for the Bathrust race. I don’t have the link but it was news posted on the 2/4/08
Its true; he finished 19th last weekend at Phillip Island driving a Holden VE Commodore and is REALLY looking forward to driving at Bathurst - a lifelong dream, he reckons.

Well i can tell you Boris and Matt finished Philip Island 500 in 19th place which was not to bad considering, you can go to super cheap racing web site and see his comments. If he thought Phillip Island was a great race track, he will s$#@ himself when he drives at Bathurst in a couple of weeks, this track is insane i wish they raced at bathurst every day of the week, not once a year if you guys can get see the Bathurst 1000 take a look it is the best days racing.
Will from Australia.
