8/28/07:
After getting getting cut from two races for which he qualified, Boris made a nice showing at the Glen. Nascar rules stated that Said’s qualifying runs didn’t matter as the whole field couldn’t qualify due to rain. The starting lineups were determined by point standings.
Disregarding these disappointments, Said turned in a good run at Watkin’s Glen on August 12th. Racing for Bill Elliot and starting nearly last, Boris finished in a well done 14th place.
In other news…Said Nation, please accept my apology for not updating the site recently. Some life events have kept me from my duties, but I will do better in the future!

It seems like it’s been forever since I’ve seen Boris run a cup race. However, the schedule confirms it to be true–Boris Said will be racing at Infineon on June 24th. Look out for Boris at this race proudly driving the No Fear Ford. Lets go #60!

Wear your Tie-die shirt and curly-haired wig proudly! You’re not alone in your quest of Boris Said promotion.
Welcome to my new website “The UnOfficial Boris Said Fan Site.” I personally believe that Boris Said is the most underrated driver in NASCAR today. Somebody give him a full ride already! He is borderline dominating at road courses, not too shabby at oval tracks, and has a personality that fans love.
Hopefully I will keep the News section up to date with each race and important announcements regarding Boris Said’s career. Any articles I write or any user submitted articles (approved) will be posted in the articles section. You will also find links to popular Boris Said information as well as non-related Said links.

#60-Boris Said, who qualified sixth and placed 14th overall at the 2007 Daytona 500, will return to Nextel Cup Series action this weekend at the Aaron’s 499 at Talladega Superspeedway. Driving for the Roush-Fenway No Fear Racing, Said, from Carlsbad, California, will guide the #60 No Fear Energy Ford Fusion. “We’re real excited to be back racing again and I’m hoping we can carry the momentum we have from Daytona over to Talladega,” offered Said while packing up his driving suits and helmets this morning. “Our number one goal at Talladega this weekend is to make the race. Just making a Nextel Cup races has become so hard now, that we’ll be pleased to just make the show.” No Fear Racing tam owner Mark Simo is also excited about the team’s chances this weekend’s Aaron’s 499 at Talladega. “You enter every race hoping for the opportunity to be competitive,” reasoned Simo. “We’re hoping we can do well at Talladega. “With a limited schedule - the team will also compete at Infineon, the Pepsi 400, Watkins Glen and the Talladega October race - first we hope to start the weekend by qualifying, and then if that works out, we’ll look for a reasonable result on race day. I can’t imagine going to a race and not being competitive, but you have to realize that we’re racing against the best guys in the world here. I guess you have to curb your enthusiasm and live in reality.”(No Fear Racing PR)(4-24-2007)

Site Update! I’ve updated the site with a comprehensive list of Boris Said’s race results in Nascar races. I have divided the section into pages for the various Nascar Series.
News! BorisSaid.net has been listed in Google’s search results. Unfortunately it doesn’t show up under a general search for Boris Said, but it does show up under Boris Said Fan and anything else more specific to the site’s title.

Site Update! Just one of many I hope. I added Boris Said forums and linked to them on the navigation bar. I also added a 2007 Schedule so you can keep up with the races that Boris is running. (I haven’t included the Busch series races since he hasn’t found a sponsor yet)
I’ve been trying to implement the news feed but having some problems with the server at the moment. Hopefully it will be up soon.
Oh yeah, and “Sell more cases…Run more races!!!!”
