With a new sponsor comes a new paint scheme and I finally got ahold of a sweet picture of it. With this new 7-11 Slurpee design, Boris Said should make qualifying a breeze.

Boris Said picked up a new sponsor for the Daytona 500 on September 17th. 7-Eleven has thrown their hat in the ring with a Slurpee sponsorship for the number 60 Ford Fusion. Check out Jayski’s for the full report.

I found a great article that just popped up arguing for Boris Said to get more ride time. Check it out here…Boris should be given a shot at the big time
This article seems to point out the arguments we’ve all been making. It really makes you wonder what’s holding a sponsor and a team back. He’s much more proven than a dirt track rook.

It has been reported that Boris Said has been signed with Paul Morris Motorsports to take part in some Australian V8 Supercar races.
The first race is the Phillip Island 500. This race is to be held September 12th - 14th, 2008.
The second race is the Bathurst 1000. This race is to be held October 9th - 12th, 2008.
Hopefully I’ll be able to find some more details as the races approach. I have not found a linkable source to this information as of yet…
Rolex 24 Results Posted

The results are up for the 2008 Rolex 24. The number 1 car finished in first place with drivers Franchitti, Montoya, Pruett, and Rojas alternating turns at the wheel. They completed the 695 laps with an average speed of over 100mph.
The results for Boris Said confuse me. The team he was listed with in qualifying finished in 57th place overall, and 36th in the GT division of the race. They completed only 177 laps in this endurance race. Read more
