Boris Said in the Rolex 24

Boris Said will join teammates Tom Nastasi, David Empringham, and Jean-Francois Dum to compete in the Rolex 24 this weekend. Driving the number 15, Ford Mustang Cobra GT in the GT division, the team is hoping for a good result. They’ll start at an okay 40th position (out of 66 rides).

The Rolex 24 is a 24 hour race where the team’s drivers alternate throughout the race. It takes place at Daytona so with many of Nascar’s drivers already in town, many choose to take part. The 46th annual event will start at 1:30pm TODAY (1/26) and will air on SPEED.

Boris Said Sweeps Bodine Bobsled Challenge

While typically a race car driver, Boris knows bobsledding. Boris Said’s father was an Olympic bobsledder and apparently it rubbed off. Boris came into today’s Bodine Bobsled Challenge as the defending champion from one of the races last year. This year Said came in and swept both races.

According to post race interviews he didn’t think he’d win this year…but we Said Heads know better. He’s been sledding longer; its in his blood. Pitted up against other race car drivers, Boris should know that they don’t stand a chance. Read more

Boris Said Fansite Version 2!

I’ve just uploaded the new file for version 2 of the UnOfficial Boris Said Fansite. There really wasn’t anything fundamentally wrong with the last version, but this one makes it easier for your beloved webmaster to manage. Hopefully this will allow me to post more frequent updates and opinions about Boris Said and his racing career.

I’ve uploaded most of the content from the last version onto this new Boris Said Fansite. It looks different but most is still available. Somehow I lost the videos page of the last site, so I’ll have to work on putting up new videos so you have some Boris Said footage to watch.

Most importantly I posted the 2008 Boris Said schedule information that has started floating around the internet the last couple of days. Check out the link on the right ‘2008 Schedule’ to see it.
